Boulter is a songwriter and musician living on the Thames coast in Essex, UK. M G came to lead, as singer and guitarist, the popular country rock band The Lucky Strikes, who Q Magazine once likened to “The Waterboys on trucker pills”.M G Boulter has been creating rich and evocative story songs since 2013. M G creates vignettes of suburban lives and seaside communities and is a contemporary voice in the long tradition of the singer-songwriter. Often referred to as the artist’s artist M G is a much sought after collaborator in the folk and Americana scenes, having tenures in the Simone Felice Group (US), The Duke and the King (US), Emily Portman’s Coracle Band, Blue Rose Code, The Owl Service and Jon Boden’s Remnant Kings. He will be performing with his regular Bass player at the Globe with stories, songs and tunes to delight you.
